What we do

Penta Consulting is a global staffing solutions business providing innovative and flexible recruitment strategies for clients and career opportunities for candidates and contractors within the Information and Communication Technology sector. We specialise in resourcing the very best permanent and contract technical staff and through our executive search and selection division Penta Search we also supply senior executive staff.

We advise organisations on recruitment, how to optimise their workforce and provide long-term expertise on the utilisation of staff and skills. In addition, we can develop and supply technology and consultancy services to maximise the effectiveness with which our customers use external suppliers and internal resources.

Our innovative approach includes our flexible Vendor Management Software, which has been developed in consultation with key clients and which can be rapidly adapted to mirror any organisation's key HR processes. Over the past few months we have further enhanced our unique web based recruitment software, which automates and streamlines the traditional hiring process, in order to drive increased efficiency and productivity, by adding in dedicated administration and housekeeping as an added value, integral part of the service.

Staffing innovation

As well as dealing with in-country compliance, legal and accountancy issues and trading in restricted currency markets a key challenge in the international marketplace is to find a way of providing people with the specific skills our clients needed to drive their overseas projects. This we do by initially taking top level skills from anywhere in the world into the different locations but at the same time we begin to identify and train the very best local people so that longer term our clients will benefit from a skilled local workforce to take their projects forward. By setting up local training in response to skill gaps and shortages we forsake short term gains for longer term partnerships which require both parties to share risk and investment.

Over the past year we have further developed this service and now have teams of in-country 'experts' in place who can not only take on complex projects but can also co-ordinate training projects for fellow countrymen. This has literally enabled us to change the lives of local people who now enjoy a good salary, excellent training and development and good prospects whilst at the same time our clients have the right people in place with the right skills at a realistic price. This unique approach provides our clients with sustainable and affordable overseas solutions.

Making sure that our contractors have everything they need in place to start work is also crucial. Our experienced logistics team based in the UK offers a seamless all encompassing service, which takes care of all the different aspects of redeploying contractors around the world. The success of our in-country training programmes and the emergence of our new local 'experts' is also a key factor in our ability to attract other local people.
