A fast moving Logistics and warehousing organisation require an experienced Business Development Manager to source new contracts and grow existing accounts. A very autonomous position you will self generate your own leads and appointments and have full responsibility for new business throughout your territory.
The role will be a split of both new business and managing an existing portfolio of accounts. You will be responsible for the entire sales process from intelligence gathering and prospecting to negotiating, securing and managing new accounts.
You will also be targeted to retain and develop designated existing accounts.
You will have a proven track record of sales from within the freight, logistics (air, land or sea) or courier sector. A mix of both new business skills and account management skills are essential along with a smart appearance and excellent presentation abilities.
You will be an experienced developer of business and understand the sales process of 3rd Party Logistics, Freight, Warehousing and Distribution

Circa £30,000 plus bonus and car
