Established in 2001, our client provides complete IT and communications solutions for customers throughout the UK. They offer extensive knowledge of technology, expertise and experience in voice networks and server solutions. Due to expansion, an opportunity has now arisen for a Field Sales Executive to join their team.
This role would suit somebody with a talent for new business and a can-do attitude looking to significantly develop their career and earning potential.
As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities by offering the company’s wide range of services to SME organisations, primarily across the Midlands and Hampshire.
With your enthusiastic and committed approach, you will generate new business, maintain relationships and close new customer sales opportunities.
You will be tasked with:
- Lead generation and qualification
- Appointment setting, capability pitching and assessing customer requirements
- Identifying technical solutions
- Negotiating contracts and closing profitable business
- Liaising with project managers, sales staff and engineers
To be considered for the role of Field Sales Executive, you must have a proven track record of new business sales and experience of selling within an IT and/or telecommunications environment (including selling telephone systems).
Knowledge of some of the following products and technologies is also essential:
- Hosted communications and cloud computing
- Panasonic
- Avaya
- NEC
- Network
- Microsoft Server Infrastructure
- Virtual
- Possible CRM integration
- Wireless Implementation
- Router and firewall programming
- CCTV
Additionally, you must be a confident and influential communicator with strong business acumen and commercial awareness. A driving license is also necessary.
