The Company:
Our client, a IT Reseller based in the Hemel Hempstead area are looking to recruit a Senior Account Manager to join their lively sales team. Working with international vendors such as Microsoft and Symantec and many more, they continued to grow during the economic downturn and are looking to capitalise on their market share in 2010 and beyond!!
The Senior Account Manager role:
As a Senior Account Manager you will develop and maintain a buying account base made up of SMB, Corporate or Public Sector clients. You will not be restricted to any geographic or vertical in this role so are free to go after a territory/market that you feel will be lucrative for you.
This sales role requires the Senior Account Manager to sell new business, selling the products and have an understanding of the full sales process. Building a pipeline is key for bringing in new business.
About you:
It is anticipated that you will be/have recently worked for an IT reseller/solutions provider with a demonstrable ability to sell to the end user. A strong new business background is an advantage as well as being target driven and tenacious.
You will need have a proven track record of sales and be able to bring in £10K-£15K gross profit per month.
It is essential that the successful candidate can bring in Accounts (At least 30-40)
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with clients over the telephone.

As a Senior Account Manager you can expect a starting salary of £20K-£25k with an uncapped commission structure that will see you taking home in excess of £40k on target.
