Our client, a leading entertainment business is looking to recruit a Business Manager to join their vibrant London team. As Business Manager, you will be meticulous and innovative selling ideas, plans and campaigns across the independemnt agency group to maximise revenue. With strong communication skills you will sell across all brands, proactively develop business whilst maintaing excellent client relationships with new and existing contacts. You will liase with all the relevant departments maintaining a good rapport. Your confidence and passion will enable you to make decisions and multitask effectivly ensuring successful results. You will have previous experience within radio sales and knowledge of London agencies and personnel. You will have an understanding of the market and it's competitors. The qualities we are looking for in the Business Manager include . Achieve revenue targets by selling across all brands and all revenue streams, airtime, ntr, podcasts, creative PRA's, sponsorship and promotions. . Work closely with independent non contracted agencies . Proactively target new agencies and clients through your established agencies and new advertising agencies . Develop long term business through excellent pre and post campaign service with agencies . Ensuring you achieve your key performance indicators and in particular your face to face call levels . To have excellent knowledge of all radio brands . Build effective relationships with key decision makers and influencers at agencies . Deliver the highest levels of service through attentive account management, thorough and efficient understanding/representation of client requirements, and speedy response times. . Provide weekly accurate forecasting, and manage the reporting process . Maintain contact management system . Provide quaterly business performance reviews . To support the Group Head in training and development of the team . Ensure that you are aware of the clients portfolio, its commercial opportunities, policies and any changes occurring within the Group, across radio (ie RAJAR) or throughout the industry. Qualities we're looking for in the Business Manager include: . Previous experience within Radio sales and knowledge of London agencies and personnel . A understanding of Radio and its potential role . An understanding of the market . A proven track record of working within a target driven environment and achieving these targets consistently . Excellent client-facing and telephone sales skills . Excellent numeracy skills . Strong communication, organisation and presentation skills .
