Our client, a leading commercial broadcaster, is looking to recruit a Business Manager to join their department. The purpose is to maximise the revenue of the company through proactively delivering creative, client focused pitches that will in turn utilise all the communication channels available across the company's platforms. Key Duties and Responsibilities: . To maintain high visibility and profile levels within your team . Generating and developing new clients . Regularly report to the sales team on product information, revenue, marketing, trading status and developments for your specified brand . Produce and update a business plan . Demonstrate an awareness of the company's portfolio, its commercial opportunities and its policies . Ensure the company's sales policies are adhered to at all times . Proactively identify, pitch and close new business opportunities Key qualities required include: . Strong organisational skills . Confidence to achieve revenue targets by demonstrating a strong awareness of the company's portfolio . Experience selling sponsorship, advertising and online to agencies . Demonstrate a solid and strong ability to proactively cold call businesses with an excellent telephone manner . Strong negotiation, presentation and numeracy skills . Positive 'can do' attitude with the drive and patience to achieve revenue targets under tight deadlines You must be eligible to work in the UK to apply for this position.
