Business Sales Manager - Homeworker
Location: Home based but you must be able to attend HQ once a week.
Business AreaSales - Business
Job Purpose
To achieve profitable new business sales of business to business products and services to businesses up to 200 employees, within a defined geographical territory.
Reports to SME Sales Manager
Works closely with Account Management, Retail Channel Manager, Mobilisation, Finance, internal operational functions and Channel Marketing.
Key Accountabilities
Sell a variety of mobile voice and data solutions
To develop and articulate an in-depth understanding of the assigned geographical area and the businesses and opportunities.
Networking and building relationships to generate opportunities within the region
Develop Channel Marketing activities in conjunction with the sales team and Channel Marketing Team
Develop and build a pipeline through:
Self generated opportunities
Business networking
Ensure familiarity of and adherence to all processes and procedures within O2 and the Business Sales directorate, including reporting, systems, CRM system etc.
Achieve connection, profit and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) based targets
Accurate forecasting and pipeline data within guidelines
Person Specification:
Demonstrable track record of sales success
Ability to influence others
Ability to build effective cross-functional working relationships
Excellent communication skills both orally and written
Self motivated, enthusiastic and professional
Excellent presentation skills
Strong commercial acumen
Good understanding of the Mobile Telecommunications industry
