Clinical Support Specialist - Cardiology - Endovascular

Salary £32,000 - £36,000 + bonus excellent benefits

We are representing one of the biggest names in Healthcare. This company is recognised for the quality of its products, staff and service. This particular vacancy is in the vascular team.
The role of a clinical support specialist includes
* The aim of this role is to help drive sales across the Cardiology and Endovascular businesses by ensuring that all UK & Ireland customers are certified in the use of the product
* This will be achieved through visits to pre defined target accounts to explain how the device works & certify all end users.
* It is the role of the sales person & Product Specialist to gain commitment to trial products within the chosen account and dates for the certification to begin.
* The Clinical Specialist will support the sales person during the evaluation and certification of Dr's. They will also certify all remaining customers within that account, should this not be completed in the designated timeframe.
* The Clinical Specialist should visit the accounts when required to certify new customers to that account. They can liaise with the "Hospital Product Champion" to determine logistics for this to take place.
* Act as a product information resource should the Sales person have a question.
For this role you will have
Preferably educated to degree level in a scientific discipline or qualified in Clinical Physiology / Medical Physics & Physiological Measurement.
* Hands on Vascular Closure Device experience desirable.
* Cath Lab or Radiology experience.
* Experience of working in a clinical cardiology environment, preferably within the field of electrophysiology and/or pacing.
* Have the capacity to gain in-depth product and procedure knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with every level of the hospital hierarchy.
* Must possess strong presentation skills with an excellent capacity to coach and train customers.
* A creative and innovative approach with good analytical and problem solving skills.
* Must be comfortable working in a team environment, but also be extremely self-motivated when working alone.
* Computer software package skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Full & clean driving licence
