Our client, a leading B2B Business Provider, is looking to recruit a Conference Sponsorship Sales Manager to join their vibrant London based team. The firm is one of the biggest B2B media owners in the industry with a reputation, which often means candidates clamber for an interview! They are looking to set up a new department to complete current conferences, meaning you will be given the chance to shape this new department and you will likely be managing a small team within 12 - 18 months. In this role, you will liaise closely with the Divisional Manager and the production team. You will be determined and target driven generating sales opportunities. You will draft contracts and proposals and monitor costs v revenue. You will deal with intelligent data acquisitions this being a key role as the team develops. You will be confident and strategically lead, ensuring all tasks are met with efficiency, managing business relationships from contract drafting through to at-event management. Develop new business and keep up rapport with existing clients with a confident and passionate attitude. You will have previous B2B sponsorship sales experience. Organising sales meetings, exhibitions, networking and business presentations . Key account management of clients, maintaining an after sales relationship with all clients . Conducting detailed preparation and research into the sales calls you make and the potential customer you are targeting . Maintaining a strong knowledge of the industry in which you work and any factors that may affect your business . Preparing, compiling and processing spreadsheets to report and communicate with your team . Producing a personal development plan to assist your progression within this role The Key qualities we are looking for in the Conference Sponsorship Sales Manager include: . Previous Sponsorship sales experience needed, selling to Energy markets . Strong confidence to sell and negotiate at all levels . Ability to communicate at senior levels . Solid ability to learn and develop new and existing skills . Ability to work individually as well as part of a team . An ambitious individual who is willing to get involved and progress within the company . Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal .
