Delegate Sales Manager
£25,000 - £30, 000 + Uncapped Comm (£65-£70k OTE)
Our client, one of the UK's leading global B2B organisation, a bastion on how to do things in the conference industry is looking to recruit a Delegate Sales Manager to be part of their team based in London. As Delegate Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving the business forward and project managing premier conferences and developing sales executives. Not only will you be tasked with managing a team you will be required to help with conference production, speaker selection, logistics, etc. With enthusiasm and efficiency you will have excellent communication skills enabling you to mentor, coach and lead a team. As a highly proactive and ambtious individual you will deliver sales targets on conference by conference basis. The role will largely be telephone and office based as you will be looking after one of the teams, however you will receive face-to-face exposure when meeting with major account and at conferences. You will have an interest in international business news and current affairs ensuring professional business goals are achieved successfully. With a strategic approach you will generate strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing solutions to their requirements. You will have previous B2B media sales experience and managing outbound phone based sales teams preferably within a conference/media sector (but not essential). Previous B2B media sales experience and managing outbound phone based sales teams preferably within a conference/media sector (but not essential). . A demonstrable sales track record within new business . Strong understanding of the sales process with proven experience of uncovering and comprehending the needs of customers . Managing a small team . Excellent face-to-face and telephone skills . Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal . Highly motivated and proactive .
