Job Description...

Our client is currently looking to expand its team of financial advisers in Al Ain, Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah.

They work differently from many of the larger brokerages in the region in that they do not have the numerous layers of management that many other brokerages do.

Because they do not have all the auxiliary costs of the larger brokerage, they can pay consultants more than the industry average.

The ideal candidate...

If you are a financial consultant and have... 

  • Full UK CeFA, FPC or equivalent qualifications
  • At least 1 full years financial services experience in the UAE
  • The intention of remaining in the UAE for the foreseeable future
  • An unblemished sales record

... and can obtain character references from two financial institutions, this is what our client can offer: 

  • Market leading commission. 100% of base commission (i.e. 3x notional) for indemnified commissions and 75% of all renewal, trail and non-indemnified commissions; i.e. if you are on 80% commission now, they pay 25% more from day one!

Desired Skills & Experience...

  • Self-managing individuals with at least 1 years of proven track record in financial sales – ideally 2 years
  • Good educational background, with professional qualification in the life industry, insurance or financial services
  • Good communication skills with an outgoing and confident attitude and presentable image
  • Possess the ability to build rapport and long-term relationship at all levels
  • A strong desire to earn high level of income
  • Consistent drive and the ability / motivation to set and achieve self-set targets without managerial pressure
The client also has an administration office with administrative and broker support as well as ‘cloud’ sales, administration and pipeline software which enables consultants and coordinators to instantly access client details, synchronise diaries or check for pipeline updates; 24 hours a day from anywhere in the world.

For those who require the comfort and support of a big, plush office and a highly defined management and training structure, This client is not the right brokerage. However, for knowledgeable, self- motivated, higher earners who would like more of the income they generate to land in their pocket, this could be the move they have been looking for.

A consultant on 80% who earns $200,000 a year at present, would earn over $250,000 per annum with this client!
