Our client, a specialist advisory firm, is looking to recruit an experienced Sales Director to join their team based in Oxford. As Sales Director, you will be responsible for selling an established, state of the art database and its publications, as well as further services and products to the pharmaceuticals and biotechnology markets. The Key responsibilities of the Sales Director include: . Proactively developing existing accounts whilst actively generating new business . Driving forward new business through the support of exciting marketing and product development activity . Effectively meeting targets under tight deadlines . Successfully maximising revenue and business development . Responsibility of leading a team by example The Key qualities we are looking for in the Sales Director include: . Previous experience selling within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry . A proven track record of selling successfully within this sector . Excellent communication skills both written and verbal . Target-orientated with excellent closing skills . The ability to sell at senior levels to large corporations .
