Our client, a leading global media company, is looking to recruit an Sales Manager to head-up their prestigious London team. As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and report to the Divisional Managing Director. You will be target driven, passionate and a confident individual with effective communication and presentation skills, enabling you to develop new business and create high morale within the sales team. You will network across all portfolios accumulating strong client relationships with a confident tele-sales, webex and face -to- face sales approach. With an assertive manner you will motivate and manage sales staff, input editorial strategy to maximise sales potential and ensure all team and personal KPI's are exceeded.You will also liaise with the editorial, production and finance departments, giving you the opportunity to develop ideas, expand revenue and product portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading company who are offering a competitive salary. There will be a lot of travelling involved, therefore a second European language would be useful (but is not essential). You will have previous media sales and B2B experience with a proven track record. Key Responsibilities of the Sales Manager include: . Generating new business through maintaining excellent customer relationship management . Developing new advertising clients by investigating the market and being ahead of the competition . Building long-term, profitable business relationships with all accounts in territory . Ensuring the delivery of KPI's through successfully implementing a business plan . Ensuring sales targets are meet accordingly . Proactively developing new ideas and solutions to increase business revenue . Regularly liaising with key contacts and clients in order to generate repeat business . Demonstrating the ability to implement a sales strategy and plan . Demonstrating a strong attention to detail when it comes to account managing all of your clients Qualities we're looking for in the Sales Manager include: . Previous significant media sales experience with excellent management and presentation skills . Experience of generating new business streams within an advertising environment . A proven track record of successful sales . OMIT . Fluency in a second European language (not essential) . Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. . Excellent telephone sales skills .
