Our client, one of the UK's global leading financial media owners is looking to recruit a Sponsorship Sales Manager to join their London based team. They are part of one of the largest media owners in the industry and have a reputation for producing some of the best content in the industry, always delivering what they promise and always at the cutting edge! They provide their employees with the support you need, through resources and also through continual informal and formal training. As Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing new business sales, account management and contributing towards generating high revenue sales. You will have the chance to work across a set of conferences that have been well established over the years and have built up a reputation for matching senior level, well respected delegates with companies they should be doing business with. The role will involve extensive travel aroend EMEA region. You will be driven and instrumental with identifying high-level sponsorship sales opportunities with existing and new accounts. With an ambitious and business orientated approach you will develop the portfolio. You will have strong communication skills working effectively within a team of Sponsorship and Exhibition sales people and with a larger team of conference producers, research teams, marketing and telesales. You will also liaise with production/marketing and logistics ensuring all options are addressed and clients receive the best level of service. If you have the skills apply now. The Key Responsibilities of the Sponsorship Sales Manager will include: . Developing and servicing current clients in order to maximise revenue . Managing and building new business across the company . Achieving sales targets . Understanding of data and positioning of offers to maximise revenue opportunities . Assisting in reporting/billing and invoicing of clients . Closely liaising with clients and colleagues on a regular basis . Offering the highest level of care to clients in order to build long term revenues The key qualities of the Sponsorship Sales Manager will include: . Experience in a business development role withing a B2B enivironment . Previous sales experience (Preferably in sponsorship, but not essential) . A proven track record strategic sponsorship sales, new business wins and account management with average deal values . Strong organisation and time management skills . Meticulous and Analytical . High degree of empathy and business acumen . Driven and ambitious . Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook . Excellent communication skills both verbal and written . A self-motivated individual who is well organised and client focussed . A solid ability to work at all levels .
